推断题与细节推断题
推断题与细节推断题的问法相似,在解题过程中均需进行推理、引申。但在课程体系中,根据解法的不同,我们将细节推断题归在细节题的类别中。
这两种题型的区别有二:
①推断题的题干中没有细节信息,其答案通常在段落转折、段首或段末句;
②细节推断题的题干中有细节信息,解题时需用题干或选项关键词精准定位,方可找到答案位置。
【例题-推断题】(2013年text 3)
Perhaps willfully, it may be easier to think about such lengthy timescales than about the more immediate future. The potential evolution of today’s technology, and its social consequences, is dazzlingly complicated, and it’s perhaps best left to science fiction writers and futurologists to explore the many possibilities we can envisage. That’s one reason why we have launched Arc, a new publication dedicated to the near future.
33. Which of the following is true according to Paragraph 5?
[A] The interest in science fiction is on the rise.
[B] Arc helps limit the scope of futurological studies.
[C] Technology offers solutions to social problems.
[D] Our immediate future is hard to conceive.
【例题-细节推断题】(2020年text 3)
The bills are similar to a measure recently adopted in California, which last year became the first state to require gender quotas for private companies. In signing the measure, California Governor Jerry Brown admitted that the law, which expressly classifies people on the basis of sex, is probably unconstitutional. The US Supreme Court frowns on sex-based classifications unless they are designed to address an “important” policy interest. Because the California law applies to all boards, even where there is no history of prior discrimination, courts are likely to rule that the law violates the constitutional guarantee of “equal protection”.
32. Which of the following is true of the California measure?
[A] It has irritated private business owners.
[B] It is welcomed by the Supreme Court.
[C] It may go against the Constitution.
[D] It will settle the prior controversies.
